The iPhone
Recently Apple unveiled their new generation telephone. The iPhone. And it's so much more than just a cell phone and MP3 player mixed into one.

Safari: Now on Windows
The beta of Safari 3 is already available for download.
Now given, Apple does make some highly impressive products and software, what makes me grouchy though, is that Apple has the audacity to refer to this as "the worlds best browser". It may be fast, but being fast is not enough. Firefox, on the other hand, tried and true, has a proven track-record of cutting edge web standards support as well as a much a wider band of dedicated users.
Safari does, however pass the Acid2 test with flying colors, which is impressive. Not even Firefox 2 does this.
But can Safari overcome the Firefox'es popularity? We'll see.

Spruce up Windows XP
Of course we all know that Windows Vista is very soon coming upon the horizon, but I know most of you are like me; you either can't afford the upgrade, or just can't wait TO upgrade.
Not to worry though, problem solved. Today I found a nice little tool called the Vista Transformation Pack. What it does is apply GUI changes to make your Windows XP, look like the Vista-style OS does.
You get everything from new desktop wallpapers, to new system tray icons, screensaver, sounds, boot screen, new skin for media player, and more!
Heck, if someone didnt tell you that it was XP, you'd probably think it was Vista.
