A new type of Search Engine

Don't you just hate it when you can't find something your looking for?

Well a workmate of mine introduced me to a new search engine called ChaCha. And I know, your thinking "Oh another search engine, whatever." But this one is a little different than the others.

Here's how it works, according to them:

  • When your query (search) is submitted it is sent to a Guide (yes, a real person) who is knowledgable in the topic you're searching.
  • The Guides can see the question you submit, so you can submit your question in natural language, just like you'd ask any person a question.
  • It also means that if you submit a question filled with non-specifics (like "foot") nonsensicals (like "asdfjlakjf"), you will most likely not get connected to a Guide because no one will accept it. Same goes for any profanity.
  • Once connected to a Guide you can chat with him/her to clarify your question. Discussing your question will get more precise results than any other search engines can deliver.

Zune

Not only does it have a glistening 320 x 240 pixel full-color screen, and bult-in FM radio, but it also allows you to Wirelessly share music with other Zune-holding users. Is that legal? I don't know, but it sure looks hot.
